Cummings Aerospace Brings Expertise to Australia, U.S. Defense Cooperation

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA—Defense cooperation between Australia and the U.S. will expand as a result of increased tensions in the Indo-Pacific, announced the U.S. Department of Defense in early December. New force posture initiatives include increased logistics and sustainment and deeper integration of the two countries’ defense industrial bases.

Cummings Aerospace, a Native American Woman-Owned Small Business headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, is pleased to represent the Alabama Department of Commerce’s “Made in Alabama” booth at AVALON 2023—the Australian International Airshow, Aerospace, and Defence Exposition in Geelong, Victoria. Cummings Aerospace is a defense and aerospace systems engineering firm that specializes in model-based systems engineering, modeling & simulation, digital engineering, and software development for defense markets in the U.S. and abroad.

The 2023 Avalon Air Show coincides with the recent conclusion of the 32nd annual Australia-U.S. Ministerial Consultations, in which the U.S. secretaries of defense and state and Australian foreign and defence ministers agreed to an increased defense partnership that is intended to improve stability of the Indo-Pacific. AVALON 2023 is an opportunity for Cummings Aerospace to communicate its expertise and identify ways to advance some of the objectives set by the U.S.-Australia defense cooperation.

Cummings Aerospace is extremely excited to connect with Australian government organizations and industry to form new relationships where expertise in systems design, development, production, and maintenance can be exchanged in support of the shared vision between the two countries.
